MSP360 Explorer (Cloudberry)

Overview

MSP360™ Explorer provides a graphical user interface allowing you to access, move and manage files across your local storage and the cloud storage of your choice (no third-party servers in between). Instructions for using Pathfinder with MSP360 Explorer are below.

Сloud File Manager for the Storage of Your Choice

Cloud file management software by MSP360™ is available in two versions: Freeware and PRO.

Freeware version. Free cloud storage manager by MSP360™ comes with all the basic functionality including cloud storage account access, file/folder transfer, resumable upload and more.

PRO version. Comes with all the features of the freeware version plus advanced features like client-side encryption, compression, multipart upload, multithreading, content compare, upload rules and more.

Main Features

Encryption and Compression [PRO] - Enable extra security for your data with a unique user password and encryption before sending files to the cloud.

Command Line Interface - Automate cloud file management with Command Line Interface.

Activating MSP360 Explorer

To perform actions listed in this paragraph you need to start the command-line interface:

  1. Click on the Windows "Start" button.

  2. Type cmd.exe in the search line to run the Windows console, press "Enter".

  3. Change your current folder to the folder where MSP360 Explorer has been installed, for example:cd "C:\Program Files\CloudBerryLab\CloudBerry Explorer for Amazon S3"

Online Activation or Request Trial

  1. Activate license. (Email & key are required):"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -k "license_key" -e "email"(where "email" is your email and "license_key" is the license key that you received when buying the product).

  2. Request a trial license."CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -t -tac "trial_activation_code"

Offline Activation

If you can't activate MSP360 Explorer online you can use offline activation.

  1. Generate offline license request using your email and license key:"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -k "license_key" -e "email" -or(where "email" is your email and "license_key" is the license key that you received when buying the product).As an output, you will get a service key.

  2. Send the service key to support@msp360.com. You will receive the activation key by email.

  3. Activate license key"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -k "license_key" -e "email" -oa "activationkey_received"For time-limited license you need to specify -expire parameter with the date you received by email:"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -k "license_key" -e "email" -oa "activationkey_received" -expire "YYYY-MM-DD"

  4. The product is activated.

  5. You can also request the trial using offline:"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -or -t -tac "trial_activation_code"As an output, you will get a service key. Then run the command:"CloudBerry Explorer.exe" /activatelicense -t -oa "activationkey_received"

Release License

Multithreading [PRO] - Upload files in parallel threads to speed up data transfer.

ACL Editor- Manage access permission to any of your objects by setting up the 'Access Control List'. ACL will also apply to all 'child objects' inside containers.

Search [PRO] - Quickly search files stored in the cloud or in the local storage.

FTP/SFTP Support [PRO] (provided "as-is") - Move files between your local storage and FTP/SFTP server.

Upload Rules [PRO] - Optionally enable encryption and compression for selected buckets and also configure the predefined set of HTTP headers for every upload.

Resumable Upload - Continue uploading files from the point of interruption.

URL Generation - Generate time-limited/signed, CNAME, or default web URLs.

HTTP Headers Editor - Manage HTTP headers across single or multiple files.

Capacity Reports - Quickly see which container consumes most of the space and how it compares to others.

Connecting to Pathfinder via Cloudberry

  1. Click ‘File’ → ‘Add New Account’

  2. Double click ‘S3 Compatible’:

  3. Fill in the four boxes as below; use the keys that have been sent.

  4. Set the ‘Signature version’ to “4”.

  5. Click ‘OK’.
