UW ARCC Aims to Widen Student Exposure to HPC
Overview:
Many UW students aren’t provided with an obvious avenue in which to explore High Performance Computing during their time as a student. In order to make HPC more accessible, UW ARCC has created a new project on Beartooth. This project is intended to meet the needs of students who want access to HPC resources but do not have a PI under which they may perform their intended work or research.
Changes:
This new project is accessible now (Effective: July 6, 2023) and has been named The Gannett Peak Project.
Students who request access to this project will be granted access to the Beartooth HPC cluster under Principal Investigator and Director of Research Computing, Dr. Liudmila Mainzer.
Any UW Student may request access through our service portal.
