There are a number of important dates that researchers should be aware of. Please see review this page for a full list of important dates that may impact you . Some of these dates are listed as follows:and effect completion of overall migration. Go-Live dates for Data and Thunderer are as follows.
June 1st, 2024: New storage system “Data” to be generally available for use and ARCC will being working with users to begin migration from Alcova to “Data” and “Thunderer” enters beta testinggo-live.
July 1st, 2024: New HPC cluster “Thunderer” becomes generally available to all UWyo researchers and ARCC will begin working with users to migrate from Beartooth to “Thunderer” including invested hardware.
August 1st, 2024: Alcova data should be completely migrated to the new storage system.
December 15th, 2024: All Investment nodes, allocations, and project data currently hosted on Beartooth must be migrated to the new cluster.
To make the transition as smooth as possible, we ask that all existing projects migrate or request assistance by the following dates:
July 1st, 2024: Data currently hosted on Alcova should be requested and scheduled for migration.
October 1st, 2024: Deadline for projects in Beartooth to begin migration
go-live.
