Overview

  • RMBlast: RMBlast is a RepeatMasker compatible version of the standard NCBI blastn program. The primary difference between this distribution and the NCBI distribution is the addition of a new program "rmblastn" for use with RepeatMasker and RepeatModeler.

Using

Use the module name ncbi-rmblastn to discover versions available and to load the application.

Multicore

Some of the suite of tools can be used across multicores. Look at the help for each command to identify what it can do. For example look at blastp -help for the -num_threads option.
