Overview

• RepeatMasker: RepeatMasker is a program that screens DNA sequences for interspersed repeats and low complexity DNA sequences.

Using

Use the module name repeatmasker to discover versions available and to load the application.

Note: On Beartooth, a version of this module is automatically loaded as part of the maker application.

Multicore

The repeatmasker command can be ran with multiple threads:

• Running RepeatMasker --help will provide full documentation.

• Running RepeatMasker will list the various options. Specifically read about the -pa option, noting that we use RMBlast search engine.
