Overview

Structure: The program structure is a free software package for using multi-locus genotype data to investigate population structure.

Using

The structure application comes in two versions:

  1. Console: Command-line only version. Suitable for running on compute nodes. Use the module name structure to discover versions available and to load the application. Use the command structure.

  2. Graphical Front-End: GUI version. Suitable for running via an interactive desktop on the OnDemand service. Use the module name structure-gui to discover versions available and to load the application. Use the command structure-gui.

Multicore

We are not aware the either version of structure(-gui) can be run across multiple cores.
