RSeQC

Overview

• RSeQC: A package that provides a number of useful modules that can comprehensively evaluate high throughput sequence data especially RNA-seq data.

• Includes:

  • how are we stranded here: Python package for testing strandedness of RNA-Seq fastq files.

  • Kallisto: A program for quantifying abundances of transcripts from RNA-Seq data, or more generally of target sequences using high-throughput sequencing reads.

Using

Use the module name rseqc to discover versions available and to load the application.

Multicore

Currently we are not aware that any of the rseqc scripts can run using multiple cores.
