Version 2020.2 - Loren101
The version is ONLY available on loren101, NOT on the rest of the cluster.

Client
This is a GUI application, and as such you’ll require a client to connect.
There are many different clients, across different operating systems, that can be used to connect. Due to this diversity and user preference it is difficult to recommend and support them all.
This has been tested using MobaXTerm to successfully connect and pipe the GUI onto the connecting desktop. Off campus, this required first connecting to the VPN, using PulseSecure, and then connecting to loren101.arcc.uwyo.edu
.
If you have any issues please contact arcc-help@uwyo.edu and we’ll do our best to assist.
Connecting for the First Time
The first time you start Avizo/2020.2 you will need to activate the license and connect to the FNP license server when prompted.
The license server is: lorenlog1.arcc.uwyo.edu
- click the test button to check it can connect.
The following four images detail the steps involved.
Image 01: Click the ‘I accept the license’ check box, followed by the OK button.
Image 02: Select “Activate Avizo”
Image 03: Check “Use FNP License” and then in the text box enter the path to the license server. Click the Test button to confirm you can connect. On successfully connecting, click the “Activate” button.
Image 04: If everything has worked, you’ll see the “The configuration process was successful” message. Click the “Start Avizo” button to start the application.
