Overview

  • Beast1: BEAST is a cross-platform program for Bayesian analysis of molecular sequences using MCMC.

Using

Use the module name beast1 to discover versions available and to load the application.

The application comes in two flavors:

  1. GUI versions that have to be used via an OnDemand interactive desktop: beauti and beast.

  2. Command line version: beast.

Multicore

The beast command line version can be run across multiple cores. Run beast --help from the command line to see details about the -threads option.
